Lottery Hack

This lottery hack shows you how to cash in a winning ticket without even having the ticket! The point of revealing this is to show people that you need to be careful with your tickets until they’re cashed in. Some key points before getting into the details of the hack is that your state must have kiosks for buying and redeeming tickets, and your ticket can’t be a big winner, it has to be an amount that the kiosk will redeem which is around $200 max and likely varies by state. It’s not clear if this hack works with all kiosks, this example is with the VT lottery, so leave a comment if you if it works or not in your state.

To execute the hack, you simply need the bar code that’s revealed on the winning ticket. This is why you need to be careful when showing pictures of tickets on social media or while scratching tickets on YouTube…at least until you’ve cashed it in. On the flip-side, you could post a picture of a winning ticket as a give-away to help promote your channel or site. Once you have a picture of the bar code, you need to print it out, you can’t simply use your phone and scan it at the kiosk, that won’t work, although that may vary state to state. Once you print it out, I tape it over the barcode of a losing ticket, but that’s not mandatory. Here’s a video of the hack in action…
