Recent Sales

The recent ticket sales strategy is one of the best strategies in my opinion and the one I use the most. Rather than looking at the sales throughout the entire timespan of the game [see Total Sales Strategy], it looks at the sales over a recent time-frame, typically the last week or two. The only thing you need for this strategy is the number of tickets sold over this time-frame and the amount of prizes paid out. Clearly, you want to play the games that have been paying out the least over the last week. The way it works is simple, take a look at the first game in the table, 21978 tickets were sold over two weeks and only $8,595 was paid out, which equates to $0.39 on the dollar, typically the lottery pays out $0.65 on the dollar. Note that this table has been sorted by price first, then payout, that’s because low dollar tickets tend to payout closer to $0.60 on the dollar, gradually increasing until the high dollar tickets which return over $0.70 on the dollar. Therefore, it’s important that you compare the payout for each ticket price point and not compare the $0.39 payout for the $1 Tiki Cashword to the $0.57 payout for the $30 Money Mania. Now, if you jst compare the $30 tickets clearly Money Mania is the one to play. Note, if you only want to see $30 tickets, type $30 in the search window. It’s also important to note that dollar amounts have been normalized to $1 for each game, that’s because a $30 game is going to payout a lot more money than a $1 game, so the total sales for $30 tickets is divided by 30, and so on for each price point.
