Some people like playing new books since you know they contain the maximum number of winners. While that is true, the odds are still the same, unless you know something about that book. That’s why new, or newer, books are good if you’re using a strategy, like buying sequential tickets. If you buy 5 tickets at the end of book and they’re all losers, you just spent all that money and didn’t gain an advantage. When you start at the beginning of the book, you get more chances to recuperate if you have a bad stretch. If you get an outlier or several winners in row then you can stop playing that book and move on to another. Certainly if many people were using this strategy, then by the time you get to the end of the book, it’s highly probably that the good winners are gone. You can determine that for yourself.
