Cashwords

This is a quick tip on a better, more efficient way to play cash word games and it’s essentially the opposite of how they are supposed to be played. Most cash word games give you 20 letters [some only 18] and then you search for each letter in each word, when you’ve finished if you have a certain number of complete words, you win the corresponding prize. With so many letters and words, this can be time consuming and error prone. There’s a much better way which you can see below. You begin by finding the 6 letters that you don’t have “DEN QTV” for this ticket. Then you start with the most common letters in the alphabet which you don’t have “ENT” in this case, then you check each word for these letters, if there is one, mark it. I use a big marker instead of a coin. It only takes one of these letters to invalidate a word. You’ll learn quickly that these common letters takeout most of the words. At this point you can check each of the remaining words to see if they contain any of the other letters you don’t have. Then you can count all of the words without a mark and see if you’ve won. Of course this ticket was a loser.
